Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, has approved new postings
for members of his management team, with immediate effect, in an effort
to reposition the force for greater efficiency.
According to the posting notice, Deputy Inspector-General of Police
(DIG) Dan’Azumi Job Doma, is now in-charge of the Department of Finance
and Administration at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, while DIG Kakwe
Christopher Katso, is to take over Force Criminal Intelligence and
Investigations
Department, Abuja; DIG Chintua Amajor-Onu will now be in
charge of the Department of Information and Communications Technology,
and DIG Jubril Olawale Adeniji will be in charge of the Department of
Research and Planning, FHQ, Abuja.
The posting notice as obtained by journalists on Monday indicated
that DIG Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, who is in charge of the Department of
Logistics and Supply, DIG Saliu Argungu Hashimu, in charge of the
Department of Training and Development, and DIG Sotonye Leroy Wakama, in
charge of Department of Operations, all at the FHQ, still maintain
their duty posts.
